Sokoto State Moves to Ban Bet- Naija Pool
In its efforts to maintain religious ethics in the state, Sokoto State House of Assembly has resolved to call on the state government to ban the activities of Bet-Naija in the state.
The state lawmakers concluded on the move in consideration of the fact that the negative trend of Bet-Naija pool contravene both Islamic and Christian injunctions and also against the penal and shari'a codes.
The decision followed matters of urgent public importance raised by member representing Sokoto North one constituency Hon. Malami Mohammed Galadanci.
Meanwhile, the Honourable House has gone on recess from 17th may to 26th june 2018 for the end of fourth quarter 3rd session of the eight Assembly to enable Hon.members celebrate democracy day.
