Hon. Adoke Mourns Late Alh. Idris Isiaka King


The honorable member representing Adavi constituency at kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muktar Bello Adoke has described the death of elder statesman, Alh. Idris Isiaka (King)  as a rude shuck, saying he has contributed immensely to the development of contemporary politics in Ebiraland.

Adoke who expressed sadness over the death of the elder statesman said the deceased was one of the most accommodating, generous and refined politicians the Ebiraland has produced.

“Politics will never be the same without the jocular banter of the deceased.

"Kogi central senatorial District, and indeed the kogi state at large, will miss the wise counselling of Alhaji Idris Isiaka (King)

"For Alhaji Idris Isiaka (king), politics was never a do or die affair, but a vehicle for service to the people", he said.

Condoling with the family and the state governor, the lawmaker said “on behalf of the good people of Adavi Constituency, I condole with the Governor of Kogi state Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello and the immediate family of the deceased.

“May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss,’’ he said.

Until his death, late Alh. Idris Isiaka King was the chairman Kogi Central Elder's Advisory Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in kogi state.
