‘We Will Liberate Kogi PDP From Uhuotu-Led Undertakers’ – Duke

A former member, Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Opeyemi Duke has called a complete shake-up in the Kogi state chapter of the party.

Duke made the call in Lokoja on Monday while addressing newsmen.

The Ijumu-born politician described the current state working committee of the PDP as undertakers.

“The Engr. Sam Uhuotu led state executives have failed the party. The outgoing state executives met an almost full house when they came on board but today, we manage to have one Senate and Reps seat.

“We will rescue Kogi state PDP from the Uhuotu-led undertakers. I heard they all want to re-contest. Those who failed even when PDP was in power and has further destroyed the party to almost zero level want to come back to bury our party. We will resist the attempt with everything possible, politically.

“By now, the Engr Uhuoto led SWC should be going from house to house apologizing to the stakeholders of the party but they are shamelessly thinking of re-contesting. We will rescue our party from the undertakers,”he said.

Duke called on leaders, stakeholders and members of the party to elect credible, tested and loyal executives in the forthcoming state congress.
