Buhari Rejects Assent To Ajaokuta Steel Bill, Four Others
President Muhammadu Buhari has declined assent to Ajaokuta Steel Company Completion Fund Bill, and four other bills that were passed by the National Assembly and forwarded to him to sign into law, The Will Nigeria reports.
The other bills are National Institute of Credit Administration Bill, 2018; Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Bill, 2018; National Housing Fund Bill, 2018 and Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria Bill, 2018.
The President made this known in separate letters addressed to the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, which will be read when Senate resumes plenary next week.
TheWill recalls that Buhari had on March 20, declined assent to five bills passed by the National Assembly and forwarded to him to sign into law.
