2019 Polls: Natasha Reiterates Commitment to Ensuring Justice, Reform
The candidate of Social Democratic Party in the last senatorial election in Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti, Tuesday, reiterated her commitment to seek for justice at the tribunal which said will reform INEC.
Speaking with newsmen, Akpoti said as a social reformer, her mission is not just to win her case at the tribunal but also to reform the electoral umpire through her case.
Speaking on the undue persecution she and her supporters suffered before the election, Akpoti said justice has not been given on the arson, maiming, killing and unjust arrest of her supporters, adding that the Nigeria police keep on saying they are trying their best.
While responding to question on her stand on the forth coming governorship election in Kogi State, Akpoti said many people have looked out to her to know if she has governorship ambition, saying her decision depends on the stand of her people and it's quite early to make any decision on it as many consultations are still ongoing.
