Barr. Natasha’s Thank You Message, A Redemption Path
The Kogi Central Senatorial election has come and gone with nostalgic and incredulous experience that will lingers on in the political history of Ebira nation in decades to come.
2019 is a special year in the 21st century of Ebira existence, a year where woman in history surface once again after 1959 of Ebira revolutionary women appeared in history, like, the likes of Onyai Onono of Idogido, Onyai Iyebe of Atta Omadivi, Onyai Ivo of blessed memory etc. These women were women of great virtue that really made women proud and show the world that women are indeed mother of nation. They shunned cowardice and put our colonial imperialist on their toes against their obnoxious anti-peoples’ policies.
Since that period (1959-2019), 60years after, no woman in history that have led war or protest against social injustice in the land, except our amazon, Ebira daughter in person of Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti who was least expected being mixed blood of Nigeria and Ukraine laid her life on the line on one man protest to the National Assembly to save the race from both social and political injustice of our time.
The fearless Lioness and Ebira to the core in characters engaged several forces both within and without to emancipate Ebira nation from industrial quagmires and political naivety by the opportunist in power who can not distinguish between “ideology and aesthetics”.
These opportunists hears no other language other than looting, thuggery, insensitivity to lives and properties, mandate stealing as it reflects in their political suicide of “Do or Die” affairs in the just concluded elections. Thought the mandate will be recovered with time hence justice is just on verifiable facts and figures.
Barr. Natasha Akpoti has indeed carved a niche for herself to be different from other political office seekers of the past through her thank you video message to the public and her pronouncements of her four (4) point programme agenda despite she was robbed at the polls.
From the messages arising from the video clip, it is crystally clear that Natasha’s love for her father’s land (Ebira) is never cosmetic and divisive hence she begins implementation of her manifesto.
By her action for implementing her manifesto to make life meaningful to the citizens, she has indeed broken a “political record” ever happened in the history of Ebira politics.
In the past some candidate ran out of politics on mere loosing party primaries talk less of real election, but Natasha in her wisdom sees it as a beginning of her political journey and passion to deliver good to the people.
I stand to be corrected, how many Ebira political office seekers stay back to implement his/her manifesto after being pushed out of electoral victory?
Some failed candidate will work for a different party after loosing primaries in his or her original party before Providence will return them back to their party.
Natasha is the most hated, loved and persecuted ever in the history of Ebira politics for a crime not committed. Her albatross is “why did she want to contest”. Some gullible supporters sees her contest as contempt against the governor while the progressive supporters viewed it as blessings to the land based on her super intelligent, brave and ideological pursuit for emancipation and job creation through Ajaokuta /Itakpe resuscitation.
On behalf of the general public, I use this medium to felicitate with the amazon on her successful outing at the polls to have come this far after been blackmailed for not having political structures but failed to know that Natasha is a MOVEMENT of which they are part.
I equally wish you victory on the next level of tribunal having won the first one.
