Those calling the agitation for resuscitation of Ajaokuta noise are part of the problem | Isah Bala

It's Margaret Thatcher who contends that "we had to fight the enemy without in the Falklands. We always have to be aware of the enemy within, which is much more difficult to fight and more dangerous to liberty."

The unfolding events that greeted the mind-boggling revelations by Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti at the sectoral debate on the fraud that have been bedevilling the completion and operation of Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL) even after decades it reached 98 percent completion by the original builder; TyazhPromoExport, TPE, has uncovered the anus of the enemies within masquerading as the Messiah of the people.

Russian company designed and built the Ajaokuta Steel Complex to the 98 percent as at October 1993, through an effort that engaged over 1000 Russian experts and 3,500 Nigerians.  TPE, the original builder of ASCL is always ready to complete the project that was their brainchild and has it conspicuously posted on their website, that they are willing to return to complete Ajaokuta steel plant. http://bit.ly/1T2PHTS

However,  the failure of Ajaokuta to come to limelight till today cannot be unconnected to the greedy ventures of our so called leaders who have chosen to betray the trust reposed on them. Instead of doing what will bring succour to the people and empower the common man on the street who spent hours on the hostile sun to give them their mandate, In their gluttonous quest they've rather chosen to be patriot in reverse order, spent every available time, resources and whatnot to have the common patrimony in their pockets.

I am not surprised seeing a public servant without shame coming out publicly to say that the agitation for resuscitation of Ajaokuta is a noise, an Ebira man at that who ought to be part of the team championing the struggle for the completion of Ajaokuta by the original builder. Rather he and his cohorts living on the state coffer chose the ignoble path just to be seen as the ardent servant of the emperor, portraying himself as a kind of follower a moralist described with the believe "it's not the objectivity of an idea that matters to us, as far as it conforms with the view of our master, we shall stand by it, defend it with all our strength"

As you argued blindly that the concession of Ajaokuta steel Company to GINL should hold, have you asked yourselves the progress of Ajaokuta Steel Company when it was given to the same company? What public interest did it serve?
Why did late president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua cancelled the earlier concession agreement on April 1, 2008 and sent GINL packing for asset stripping when he discovered that more than 50% of the equipment have been carted away by the Indian firm.
It's quite unfortunate in Nigeria that we our own problems.

To set the record straight, to see the agitation for the revival of Ajaokuta Steel Company as noise is a demonstration of  evil orchestrated by greed denounced by Michael Austin as "grip of greed," but we will not be deterred because we truly believe that "the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" so say by Edmund Burke.

The agitation you called noise  will set Ajaokuata working one day for the good people of Nigeria not the cabarls.

Like Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said in her expose at the sectoral debate, "I know many will talk about why am I promoting Russia, why am I not promoting China and India. With due respect to every country's steel capabilities, the greatest steel plant in China today and five of the biggest steel plants in India citing belayer for the twelve consecutive year has won the best steel plant in Asia was built by this same company. But why is a very big question, what has Russia done and why are we shy away from approaching the people who actually envisaged this dream for the completion?"

In this struggle, our solace is always from the powerful submission of M.K.O Abiola of the blessed memory "man inhumanity to man will be redress if not by man, it will be by God for triumph of evil over good is temporal."

To cap it all, I key into the words of Alabi John Ozovehe on the day of the sectoral debate, "If after today's House of Representatives debate, you still don't respect and appreciate Natasha's stance on Ajaokuta, then you are part of the problem."
