The Governor of Kogi state, Alh Yahaya Bello has reportedly removed Hon Enesi Ajoge from office as the Administrator of Adavi Local Government Area.

A source close to the erstwhile Administrator said Gov Bello has appointed one Mr Joseph Omuya Salami as the replacement.

According to the source, Ajoge has also been redeployed as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, an appointment described as a consolation from the state government.

Recall that the widely reported sack and reinstatement of Administrators in the state had the council bosses celebrating an elongated stay in office.

Ajoge whose performance was reported to be in the black book of the Governor may have not seen his removal coming, as he was given a heroic welcome back to office by his supporters who gathered at his family home at Ozuri on Monday 12th March, 2018.

Addressing the crowd perceived to be sponsored, the embattled appointee had expressed gratitude to Gov Bello for the confidence reposed in him.
