Bello Extends 24hrs Curfew in Kogi Central
The executive governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Thursday, extended the 24hrs emergency curfew in Kogi Central Senatorial District of the state.
This was made known through his Press Secretary, Petra Akinti Oyegbunle.
The governor called for residents of the five local government of Kogi Central Senatorial District to comply with the directive as anybody who run fowl will face the wrath of the law.
It will be recalled that the government had in a press release in the late hours of Wednesday imposed a 24-hour curfew on residents of Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okehi, Okene, and Ogori/Magongo local government areas.
Whilst not stating the reason for the emergency imposition, the government assured residents that the decision was taken in the best interest of the state.
