Kogi Guber: Gov Yahaya Bello, APC Can Run, But Can't Hide from The Supreme Court - PDP
The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and APC can run but can't hide from the ruling of the Supreme Court.
The party made this known on Saturday while reacting to
the Appeal Court Judgement on the Governoship Election that affirmed Yahaya Bello as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State, describing it as unacceptable and travesty of justice.
The Party in a statement signed by the Director, Research and Documentation, Achadu Dickson asked the party’s supporters to remain calm and be hopeful, expressing confidence that Supreme Court will right the wrongs of appeal court judgement.
The party noted that there has been many instances when cases are lost at the Appeal Court but won at the Supreme Court, said the judgement was a disappointment to Democracy for an election adjudged as the worst in the nation’s history.
Governor Yahaya Bello and the APC can run, but it cannot hide from the Supreme Court, where it says the blood of the innocent people killed in the Kogi Election and the irregularities that characterized the election would be pointed out.
The PDP said the party will never give up until justice is delivered and Engr Musa Wada becomes the Governor of Kogi State, particularly that he was overwhelmingly voted for in the November Governoship Election.
