Heartbreaking Pictures Of Late 23-Year-old Nigeria's First Female Fighter Helicopter Pilot
Heartbreaking pictures of the Nigeria first female fighter helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile, who died on Tuesday by has emerged.
Tolulope Arotile who hails from from Iffe in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, set the record after she became the first ever Nigeria first female fighter helicopter pilot at the age of 20 years when she was commissioned into the Nigerian Air Force in 2017.
She died barely a year after she was fully winged as a combat helicopter pilot in the Nigerian Air Force on October 15, 2019. At her young age, she had made tremendous efforts in the fight against armed groups in the north-central region.
She had been flying combat mission to fight armed groups in the north-central region until her death on Tuesday.
Young Arotile held B.Sc in Mathematics and was trained at the famous Starlite International Training Academy, South Africa where she spent 14 months and eventually emerged the first ever Nigeria female combat helicopter pilot at the age of 20-year-old in 2017.
Sadly, she died on Tuesday on road accident in Kaduna after sustaining head injuries from the ghastly accident.
The Nigerian Air Force described her death as unfortunate, saying her short service to the nation was impactful.
