INEC Attempt to Disqualify Kogi SDP Gov'ship Candidate, A played Script - SDP Chair

The Chairman of Kogi State chapter of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alh. Mouktar Atimah, has described the attempt by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to disqualify the party's governorship candidate for November election in Kogi state as a script being played by the electoral umpire.

Addressing newsmen, Alh. Mouktar Atimah said, "it's clear that INEC is playing the script given to them by governor Yahaya Bello of APC who has seen SDP candidate, Barr Natasha Akpoti as a threat and knew there's no way he can defeat her on the election", he said.

According to Atimah, there's no reason for INEC to disqualify SDP governorship candidate, Barr Natasha Akpoti and the running mate, Engr. Khalid Adams who he said are more than qualify to contest for the election and correct the damages done by the APC led government of Yahaya Bello.

While calling on the members of the party and the general public not to lose hope by the news making the round, he said INEC will either overturn the script they are acting or court of competent jurisdiction will do the right thing.

Comments

  1. Yahaya Bello is just too full of himself, his time is up in Kogi state. The abnormalities of Kogi state APC must stop. Any attempt to silence the people choice, Bar. Natasha Apoti will be meet with the full force of resistance.
