2019 Adavi Assembly Seat: Upopuvete Clan, EN-Habib is the Deal

PART I

It is no longer news that we have five major clans in Adavi Local Government who have been rotating the seat of Adavi Local Government Chairman since inception. The seat of Assembly has been occupied by other four sister clans with the support of Upopuvete clan which happened to be the eldest of the five major clans that cohabit in the local government, but yet to represent in the Legislatures.  

Every clan in Adavi local government has sons and daughters who are eminently qualified to represent Adavians. But for the sake of natural justice, equity and good consciousness, we must team up with Upopuvete to produce one of their own to represent Adavi Constituency in the state Assembly come 2019 in order to promote inclusiveness and united Adavians.

Politicians always claim that the purpose of going into politics is to bring dividends of democracy to the the people through good governance and quality representation. After the promises and the election being won, we end up being subjected to forlorn. This is because we the masses barely consider track records about our politicians before giving our mandate. 

EN-HABIB; A POLITICIAN WITH DEFERENCE 

He has assisted many from his personal achievement. 

We may need to know some of these before thumb printing comes 2019 regarding Adavi Constituency as you would have to choose your leader wisely.

Contributions to the society:

EN-HABIB has paid his due both to the people and the party APC within his private capacity to bring the dividend of democracy to our people.

Let us talk about the people; firstly, when we talk about Job opportunities, EN-HABIB has done it and he is doing it.

When talking about youth development, EN-HABIB is the first.

When talking about Education support, EN-HABIB remains the first. 

Lets take it one after the other base on facts

On the issue of job, 

The 35 years old politician and entrepreneur has been tested in all standards. He has worked with Telecommunication Consultancy Firm where he worked as a regional secretary in charge of Kogi State. While working with the company, many of our youths had approached him for job, and he always used every opportunity to facilitate jobs for them. His company was in charge of securing and guarding globalcom assets in Kogi state. EN-HABIB believes that any opportunity that might come to him came from God, therefore he must ensure his people are carried along.

 As regional secretary, he used his position to influence appointments of five supervisors to ebira youth out of nine in total. Through this influence, he has facilitated jobs to over 60 ebira youth in only Lokoja alone out of 85 staff in total, aside the Ajaokuta axis since 2011-2016.

 My fellow Adavians if this young man could remember where he comes from by facilitating jobs to our youth using his position without minding their local government of origin or clan, he would definitely do more if a bigger opportunity comes his way. We have had many people who found themselves in a better position, but could not help, EN-HABIB has proved to the world that he is a true son of  Ebiraland.

Amongst the aspirants vying the position with him, he is the only person who has this track record attached to his name.  

 WHO HELPED THE PARTY?

EN-HABIB Abdullah is the only aspirant who has helped the party in bringing dividends of democracy to Ebira people especially on the issue of human development within his private capacity. 

How did he succeed it? 

APC manifestor is primarily centred on economic growth, corruption fight and security. 

When talking about economic growth, President Muhammed Buhari's Government initiated ERGP, Economic Recovery Growth Plan. One of the primary priorities of this plan is to invest on Nigerian people and this is the part which  EN-HABIB has contributed immensely. 

 EN-HABIB INITIATIVE ON FREE ICT EDUCATION.

This was launched in 2016 to provide digital inclusion to ebira youth in order to complement the party manifesto and the president ERGP plan. 

EN-HABIB Initiative came at the time when the country was in economic recession where average Ebira youth at home couldn't afford to sponsor themselves to acquire IT skill after secondary school or higher institution, especially the children of the less privileged in the society. 

EN-HABIB embarked on free ICT scholarship program to engage youths from Kogi central. Before launching the Initiative, he has established IT training centre with the state of the art technology in Kogi central, located at Abdul Aziz Atta Memorial College Okene, his alma mata. One of the purposes of locating the centre in A.A.A.M.C.O is to ensure that every Ebira person does come to okene daily, being the economic centre in Kogi central. 

Ordinarily, he ought to have situated it in one of the schools in Adavi local government for Adavians alone, but his inbuilt leadership qualities made him to extend the program to all Ebiras regardless of their background, faith or political affiliations. 

The program is an annual program, so far, over two hundred youths of Ebira and few non-Ebiras who are residing in Kogi central have been trained and certified free of charge by an IT consultancy firm. CentralHub technologies which was initiated in 2016/2017 have passed students; the 2018 which is the third batch is ongoing. The ICT centre was attacked immediately after the graduation of 2016 set of beneficiaries by some criminal elements in the society in 2017 where some computers and other non digital equipment were made away by the criminal, without being discouraged by the ugly incident, EN-HABIB chose to continue the program, He said " those who attack the facility do not know that in every effort there are must be a challenge and we cannot stop the progress of majority based on bad behavior of a few." 

I see this remark as a statement from a leader in making.

Upopuvete clan is lucky to produce such colossus with intellectual sagacity and developmentally endowed spirit, who has assisted every clan, unite every clan toward youths development using information technology as a tool, because at the training centre, all the beneficiaries came together as one and graduated as one. 

Hon. EN-HABIB Abdullah is the messiah and the ambassador that the Adavians have been waiting for.  He believes that helping humanity for a better society is more than any form of ostentation and self pleasure.

He has paid his due as a party man in helping his party to achieve part of it's manifesto, because human development is part of knowledge based economy driven, youth development is part of security, if young people are giving opportunity to realise their potential, they would never think of committing crime, as we use to say, an idle mind is the devil's workshop. 

We want others to show cause on why EN-HABIB ABDULLAH should not be giving the opportunity to represent us in order to do more for our people and help the party. If election is held today, all the beneficiaries would vote for the party because of EN-HABIB's gesture, their family and friends would definitely vote for APC in thousands without collecting money for vote.. 

EN-HABIB father, Adayi Audu Soldier has been in forefront in the party at the grassroot since defunct ACN now the APC in Adavi local government. EN-HABIB has been assisting his father to ensure his father's political forum keeps moving. Years ago, his father and other stakeholders were able to mobilize for the Party in the last governorship election and APC won Adavi local government Area.

I am calling on his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, Kogi State Party Chairman, Abdullahi Bello a.k.a Dollar and other stakeholders in the local government to take note of this pragmatic and emerging leader for his sacrifice for the people and party by asking all other aspirants to show cause why EN-HABIB should not be the answer. And let them prove it base on existing facts.

To the party delegates, your power to change the society rest on your shoulder via your votes at the primary, please do not allow your personal interest to over shadow the interest of the society by engaging in highest bidder for vote in the forthcoming primaries.
