OPINION: Youths and Thuggery Machinery for Political violence and intimidation In Kogi Central | BY Mathew Samuel Tino

Ebira my father land has become something else all in the name of politics, we now hunt for each other as if we are in the evil forest.

Looking at the definition of thuggery it's not a good name that people should be associated with.. Some political icons in Kogi Central has chosen to empower youths in this 21st century to be used as political tools for destruction.

Having walk around Kogi Central, I have discovered that a lot of the so called leaders have chosen to give out what should be used for development and empowering the society for recruiting thugs to intimidate, oppress, harass, persecute and execute their fellow human just because of token ( SEMO)as they often call it.

And on these ground i submit to us that it is senseless, callous and barbaric to  hunt ourselves, intimidate others all because of politics we all have equal constitutional right to belong to any political party of our choice in respective of tribe, religion and gender. So why are we now diverting what belongs to the masses to some particular set of being to be used in intimidating and chasing ourselves,

Let us not forget so soon what happened in the time past which almost cost us all, and  many who fell victims still have not been able to recover from the tragedy, especially those who lost their loved one, and those whose houses was set ablaze.

We should learn from the past so that such barbaric act won't happen again...

And to the Youths, Let us desist from our shallow thinking, we are the leaders of now not tomorrow anymore.
Why have we chosen to be used as Machinery for destruction, and killing?  Have you asked yourselves where the children of this so called politicians are? are they not good enough for thuggery?

This politicians do not mean well for you by giving you guns, machete and encouraging you with bikes to hasten your movements to committing crimes.

there is more after politics Ebira people will say *Amozi ebeba di etete ere* we will surely reap what we have sown either now or later posterity will judge us..

Leaders: Good name they say is better than riches keep that work you doing on.. GOD WILL JUDGE.. Onozoza orara me ome..

Thugs : Tao nini, Tools for violence akoro nini, it's so annoying to see our brothers been taken away for evil deed just because of the token given to them by the so called leaders..Make una wake up from una wicked way...
A word they say is enough for the wise. Think about your tomorrow and your children, what legacy are you leaving behind?

I Remain My HumbleSelf
