Natasha's Supporters Embarks on Field to Field Campaign, Support Footballers with Sport Kits
Supporters of Natasha Akpoti, the SDP senatorial candidate embarked on field to field campaign as part of the strategies to win more youths to support Natasha's candidacy, supporting the footballers with sport kits in each of the field visited.
Speaking after completing the exercise at RCM field Oboroke, the Director of Sports, Natasha Akpoti Foundation, Okasime Abdulrasheed who initiated the campaign programme said the exercise will continue and reach other parts of sport fields in Kogi Central, adding that Natasha is poised to creating opportunities for teeming youths through sports.
He recalled that before now Natasha Akpoti Foundation has shown interest in promoting sports by creating opportunities for youths to achieving their career pathway through sports which she demonstrated in November 2018 when Natasha Akpoti Foundation in collaboration with Soccer for Peace foundation, Webster group, and Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) organised Soccer Talent Hunt in Kogi State where six outstanding players were selected by NFF to join the Flying Eagles, Golden Eaglets and Future Eaglets respectively of which the players for Flying Eagles have resumed camp.
Okasime explained that if his principal is given the mandate to represent the people of Kogi Central, she will consolidate on her efforts to making the youths realise their goals through sports.
