Lokoja-Kogi Bye Election: Vote Against Gov. Bello’s Wickedness, Bad Governance – PDP Tasks Electorates

The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has tasked the people of Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency on the need to vote against Governor Yahaya Bello and his APC candidate in the forthcoming House of Representatives bye election slated for 11th August, 2018.

The PDP, in a statement signed by Kabiru Mohammed, said the whole world is on the shoulders of the people of the federal constituency as people are watching for them to prove a point through their votes that they can pay back evil and wickedness of a bad government with their votes.

The PDP observed that the whole world would be standing still for the federal constituency to prove that their long suffering, perseverance, hardship and poverty inflicted on them in the last three years of the Gov. Bello’s administration has a reward, that is; a vote against APC and his imposed candidate.

The PDP maintained that never in the history of the state since it creation have people suffered untold hardship and hunger, leading to death in many instances because of a government’s ineptitude and wickedness. The PDP called on people of the federal constituency to prove Gov. Bello wrong that he cannot govern badly and expect to harvest their votes.

To the state and local government staffers from the federal constituency, the PDP urged them to prove that no amount of money is sufficient to buy their votes, pointing out that they should recall that never have they been harassed, intimidated and humiliated with sufferings under the guise of a prolonged staff screening exercise, which made many of them to loose their lives, live without salaries for some in some instances thirty months, an action that led to brake in many family ties, divorce as many bread winners could no longer meet their family obligations.

Under Gov. Bello, the PDP observed that many in the federal constituency lost their jobs, yet the Gov. Bello’s percentage payment to workers the PDP laments makes mockery of salaries that usually come once in a quarter and lives much to be desired.

The PDP says it is therefore using the medium to let the people of Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency to know that they are in the eye of the storm as the whole world is watching to see their decision as would be exemplified through their voting pattern.

The PDP thus urged the electorates in Lokoja Kogi federal constituency to prove that their days of suffering and smiling has a a time limit, and vote against Gov. Bello’s APC and adding that his imposed candidate should not benefit from their votes.
