Okehi Assembly Aspirant Bemoans one sided Development in Okehi
The President of Ebira Vonya International (EVI) and candidate aspiring for Kogi State House of Assembly Okehi Constituency come 2019, Hon. Muhammad Itopa Siyaka
has described the one sided development of Okehi Constituency by some of the past State House of Assembly members representing the constituency as barbaric.
He stated this in a media chat with
ebiranewsng on Thursday, that he will never be biased in his projects as a representative of the constituency.
Hon. MIS stated that Okehi Constituency comprises of 11 wards in which Ihima District has seven wards and Eika District has four.
He said that representing the constituency means representing the eleven wards and as such the entire people of the constituency should feel the impact of the representation anything short of this is like eating your cake and hoping to have it all back.
MIS told our correspondent that though he is originally from Eika District, he grew up in Ihima where he attended his Primary and Secondary Education by virtue of residence and origin he belong to the whole people of Okehi and not regional.
He therefore promise the good people of Okehi Constituency that if given the opportunity to serve he will bridge the gap between the constituency and the state government, influence developmental projects, and bring Okehi to the lime light.
He urged Okehi politicians to imbibe the spirit of brotherhood and oneness as we will always come back as Okehians after politics. "Okehi shall wear a new face look", he concluded.
