NULGE Chairman Slumps, Dies In Kogi

The President of Kogi State chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, (NULGE), Comrade Tade Adeyemi has implored all Nigerians to be cautious about their health conditions always.

Adeyemi gave this caution yesterday at the burial ceremony of the NULGE Chairman of Olamaboro local government chapter, Comrade Gowon Sule aka Gadaffi, at Okpo, headquarters of Olamaboro LG.
He said regular checkups in the hospital was very essential to keeping tab on the state of one’s health, adding that the available information so far indicates that ‘our member slumped’.

According to the immediate past President of Kogi State NULGE, Com Tom Abutu, the most important thing lies in “prayers to our creator because one does not know when He will call us back’, stressing that having fulfilled the obligations of fasting till the end, Allah knows why.”

“Nobody should allow the present conditions to dampen their spirit. The economic downturn will come to an end but it is only the living that has opportunity to recall the past with nostalgia”, stating that there will certainly be a bright future because at the end of the tunnel there is light”.

Trying to confirm the cause of the death of the late comrade at Kogi State Specialist hospital yesterday, in Lokoja, most of the staff were not available but a staff who volunteered to give information on condition of anonymity said it was a sudden undisclosed death.
