Ishaq Asuku Ilyas Commends President Buhari over State Assembly Autonomy
The frontline Adavi Constituency House of Assembly aspirant, Alh. Ishaq Asuku Ilyas AKA Rich man has commanded President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law an act that gives financial autonomy to states assemblies.
The aspirant who made the statement in lokoja said the president has proved himself as a true democrat.
According to him, Nigerians should salute the President for his statesmanship as he grant financial autonomy to state legislatures which marked a watershed in the development of Democratic principles in Nigeria. "There are many things he has done over the past three years that are outstanding in terms of finding the political will and demonstrating statesmanship", he said.
