Adavi Assembly Aspirant Commends APC Peaceful National Convention
Aspirant vying to represent the people of Adavi in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alh Ishaq Asuku Ilyas, on Saturday in Abuja commended the governing party in Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the peaceful and hitch-free conduct of the party’s National convention which saw the people's "Comrade" emerged as the national chairman of the party.
The aspirant expressed his gratitude as thousands of APC members from all the 36 states and FCT shunned the showers of rain to turn-out en mass for the exercise.
According to him, the enthusiasm and commitment showed by the party members was an indication that Nigerians had understood the need to join a progressive party.
He congratulate the governor of Kogi State. Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and the State chairman of APC in kogi state, Hon. Abdullahi Bello. "This is the way to go if we are desirous of building and upholding a truly democratic political party in Nigeria. Our ultimate goal should be the greater interest of the party and Nigerians at large
