ISU National President Rewards two Female Students for Excellence Performance in Economics

In a way of promoting academic excellence, the National President of Ihima Students' Union (ISU), Comrade Onivehu Musa Habeeb has rewarded two female outstanding students in economics.

The female Students who are indigene of Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State are students of Standard Basic College Ikuehi, Ihima.

The victorious students, Isah Zainab from SS1 and Otaru Umihani from SS2 defeated other contestants to clinch first and second positions respectively after defeating other students.

Presenting Economics textbook  to the winners, the students' union president who sponsored the programme advised the students to always possess the spirit of sportsmanship, adding that winners are those who refuse to to give-up after fallen down.

"The Number of times you fall does not determine your success, what determines your success is your ability to rise after fallen down", he said.

The students could not hide their joy, appreciating the efforts of the student leader to revive the fast dying academic excellence amongst students of the present generation.

The school management was not left out as they appreciated the efforts of the students' leader while hoping for more of its likes.
