Natasha VS INEC: Federal High Court Adjourns Suit to October 31
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declined the suit by the Candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Barr Natasha Akpoti, seeking the relief of the court to give an interlocutory injunction on her alleged illegal disqualification of from Kogi gubernatorial election and adjourned the case to October 31 for further hearing.
The high court declined the relief on the ground that the suit seeking for interlocutory injunction lacks merit.
The seven days adjournment will will allow the Counsel to INEC,
TM Inua, to file consequential amendment to the reply of point of order within seven days for the court to decide on other relief filed by the SDP gubernatorial candidate.
