APC Guber Aspirant: Kogi Now Capital of Poverty, Thuggery in Nigeria
A governorship aspirant in Kogi state on the platform of All Progressives Congress, (APC), and front line Journalist, Yakubu Mohammed, on Friday, lamented that Kogi state was gradually degenerating into the capital of poverty and thuggery in the country.
Mohammed who disclosed this when he spoke with reporters after obtaining his Nomination and Expression of Interest Form at the APC National Secretariat to contest the governorship primary, said the Kogi of today is not what the founding fathers dreamed of adding that, “we aspired for a state of excellence, but what we have today is far from what we dreamy about.”
While happing on the state of decay in the state, the APC governorship aspirant, however, pointed out that Governor Yahaya Bello will not take all the blame for Kogi woes.
