Jonathan, Tinubu, Dangote, Natasha Others Nominated For Peace Award

Former president Goodluck Johnathan, the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Tinubu, the chairman Dangote group of companies, Aliko Dangote, the founder Builders Hub Impact Investment Program, Barr. Natasha Akpoti and others have been nominated for the 2019 National Peace Award.



Other distinguished personalities nominated for the award are, Governor Yahaya Bello, Senator Dino Melaye, Hon. Abike Dabiri,
Prince Ned Nwoko, Sen kabiru Gaya, Sen. Florence Ita Giwa, Chief Fabian Nwaora EFAB, Halima Dangote, Badamosi Jimoh Rawufu. Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, Gov Yahya Bello, Gov Ayade, Gov. Willie Obiano, Gov Seriake Dickson, National peace committee, FIRS, Ebiojo Paragon, Ali Baba, Yemi Alade, Tu face Idibia among others.

The 2019 National Peace Awards slated for 5th of July at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja is organised to recognise distinguished personalities and agencies who have been devoted to peace and conflict management across Nigeria.

Speaking about this year's event,
the National President of Messengers of Peace and Host of the National Peace Awards, Dr. Adejo Suleiman disclosed that the 2019 award occasion will be  impressive, adding that the event will honour several important persons, cutting across leadership, humanity, governance, private Institutions and international influencers.

Adejo pointed out that the organising committee of National event has outlined a list of confirmed award nominees, who have earned and merited whatever honour they would be decorated with.

According to him, the awardees would be given peace Customized vehicle plate number
adding that over the years, the NPA has continued to maintain a syncretic relationship with security agencies, especially the Nigeria police, who have played the most significant role in sustaining national peace in Nigeria.
