Eid-el-Fitr: Natasha Felicitates With Muslim Ummah, Calls For Love, Unity
The SDP senatorial candidate for Kogi Central and founder, Builders Hub Impact Investment Program (BHIIP), Barr. Natasha Akpoti has felicitated with the entire Muslim ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling the people to imbibe the spirit of love and unity demonstrated In the month of Ramadan.
Akpoti who made this known in her Sallah message said, "the love, care and unity shown in the month of Ramadan are what we need to live as a people.
"The have saw it as part of life to give to the have not and people became conscious of what they do or say and tried everything possible to tolerate the the weaknesses of others.
"If we can imbibe these practices, Kogi State and Nigeria at large will be a good place to live", she said.
Akpoti added that there's nothing that can be achieved in a society devoid of peace and unity where suspicion, enmity and greed thrive.
She pointed out that to have a sustainable peace, those at the helm of affairs entrusted with the people's mandate must try to give what belong to the people to them for the people not to lose hope and fight back, explaining that what triggers revolution in most cases is when the people feel they've been cheated and denied of their basic rights.
