Kogi Deputy Gov. Impeachment: Court Restrains Kogi Chief Judge, Assembly From Further Action

Kogi State High court sitting in Lokoja has granted a retraining order against the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Nasiru Ajanah and Kogi State House of Assembly on the impeachment of the state Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba.

The high court granted the restraining order of an interim injunction against the Kogi State House of Assembly, the Chief Judge of Kogi state from deliberating or going further to take any further action in respect of the impeachment move against the Deputy Governor of the state, pending the determination of the motion on notice and the originating application before the court.
