In his Sallah message, Kokori extended his warmest wishes to all Muslims in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

"Today, muslim faithfuls around the world are celebrating Eid al-Adha, one of the holiest days in the Islamic calendar, and typically, a day of great festivity.

"On this auspicious day, I extend my warmest wishes to Muslims across Kogi State and Nigeria at large who are celebrating Eid al-Adha. This special day is a time to honor the sacrifice, resolve, and commitment to God demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham). It marks the end of the pilgrimage of Hajj performed each year by millions of Muslims who journey from all corners of the world to Mecca as a testament to our faith", he said.

Kokori described the Eidl Al-Adha
as a celebration of the ways faith can transcend any differences or boundaries and unite humanity under the banners of fellowship and love.

He stressed that, "as we mark Eid al-Adha this year, we are reminded of numbers of pressing issues we are been faced with as a nation, we must remain resolute and committed in praying and finding lasting solutions to our problems for the good of our common existence. Irrespective of our political and community inclination, we must all live, unite, and work to promote peaceful co-existence to ensure economic growth and development in the country.

"I hope that this day brings joy and peace to all the Muslim brothers and sisters, and humanity in general. I pray that communities across the nations feel God’s abundant blessings of love, forgiveness, and goodwill.
From me to you, happy celebration."
