Purported Decamping of Obeiba SDP Chairman, A Shameless Propaganda by Kogi APC
The recent news making the round that the chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Obeiba Ward II has decamped to APC with his executives has been described as a shameless propaganda and the height of contradiction by Kogi APC.
Reacting to the news, SDP ward chairman in Obeiba ward II, Hon. Sadiq Rauf said it is unfortunate that Kogi APC and her foot soldiers refused to grow beyond spreading of falsehood and needless propaganda in their desperate bid to force their senatorial candidate on the people of Kogi Central senatorial district.
Rauf Said, "I remain the authentic SDP chairman in Obeiba ward II and my executives have never imagined of joining APC.
"What you see Okehi Administrator and his followers celebrating online is a mere propaganda put up together to deceive the public.
"I think they are good at drama, few weeks ago, Adavi Administrator did the same thing and we brought their lies to fore, it's not surprised that his OKehi counterpart is putting up the same lie today.
"This same people celebrating the falsehood they called decamping of SDP ward executives have been singing that SDP doesn't have structure in Kogi State.
Rauf said if truly his party does not have structure in Kogi State why then is Kogi APC trying so hard to manufucre non existent story to decieve the public.
In his words, "Kogi APC has claimed on different fora that our senatorial candidate, Natasha Akpoti who has become a household name in Kogi Central is not a threat to their victory, Kogi APC should be bold enough to tell us why are they doing all these drama because of someone that is not a threat and a party they claimed has no structure, this is the height of contradiction.
"We urge our supporters to remain steadfast in our resolve to liberate Kogi Central from the claw of misrepresentation and never be deterred by the shameless propaganda of Kogi APC and her footsoldiers who are hell bent on spreading falsehood to gain public attention.
"It is obvious that they are bereft of ideas to front issue based campaign and they resorted to propaganda, blackmail and attacks.
"Instead of this drama, we advise Kogi APC to focus on issue based campaign and let the good m people of Kogi Central decide", Rauf said.
