Gov. Bello Destroys Natasha's Billboards in Okene LG to Welcome VP Osibanjo
Governor Yahaya Bello has allegedly ordered the destruction of Billboards belonging to Kogi Central SDP senatorial candidate, Barr. Natasha Akpoti to demonstrate the APC total control of the governor's home town as Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo visit Okene LG to launch trader's money.
The billboards mounted in Okene LG government were said to have been destroyed in the night to prevent the Vice President from seeing the presence of opposition party in the governor's home town.
In a post made on her social media handle, Natasha Akpoti alleged that Governor Yahaya Bello ordered Kogi APC to destroy all her billboards in Okene LG because of VP Osibanjo's visit.
A Political pundit in the senatorial district, however, described the latest move of Governor Yahaya Bello to please President Muhammad Buhari and VP Osibanjo at all cost as antidemocracy and capable of making Natasha win Kogi Central with wide margin.
"Governor Yahaya Bello has taken his hatred and quest to stop Natasha too far, every attack launched by Governor Bello and his foot soldiers to frustrate Natasha and create tension in the land makes people to love her more and Governor Bello ended up creating more enemies for himself and his party.
"What is the reason of destroying the billboards of a senatorial candidate in another party to welcome the vice president, is VP Osibanjo and President Buhari contesting for senate? This is wickedness taken too far ", the political pundit said.
