Obobanyi Of Ihima To Gov Bello: Call Abdulraheem Ohiare To Order

The Obobanyi of Ihima, HRH Samuel Ojo Onimisi yesterday appealed to Governor Yahaya Bello to call on the administrator of Okehi local government area, Abdulrahman Ohiare, to stop fuelling political crisis in Ihima.

The  monarch made the appeal in his palace at Ihima, Kogi Central Senatorial District when he addressed the members of Emani Clan following the recent crisis which led to the loss of life and property.

The crisis involved Emani youths who were divided among various political movements. He said that the Emani people support Governor Bello and are working hard for his re-election later in the year.

The traditional ruler stressed that the governor from all intent and purpose is working hard to make Kogi State great which has made him to win laurels in crime control from different organisations.

Onimisi averred that although Barr. Natasha Akpoti emerged from Emani Clan, it is not known to the people, adding that “nobody has control over her from the clan. However it’s unfortunate that the entire Ihima has been subjected to all forms of humiliation for the sin they did not commit.”

He said that the action of the Administrator of Okehi LGA  is contrary to the mission and vision of the governor who champions peace process and fight against thuggery.

While calling on the youths to sheathe their sword, the monarch urged them to recognise the value of life which is a precious gift from God that should not be toyed with because once lost it can never be regained.
