I Will Help you to Achieve Your Dream, Natasha Tells Footballers as She Takes Campaign to Football Pitch

The candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Kogi Central senatorial district, Barr. Natasha Akpoti, Thursday, took her campaign to football pitch in Kogi Central, promising to help the sporstmen achieve their chosen path.



Akpoti said, "I am here to connect with your passion and provide a platform for you to showcase yourself.

"Human capacity development comes in different forms, either you choose to go to school or you have business or playing football, I am here to support you to achieve your dream. Part of my dream is to see we have professional footballers in the nearest future", she said.

While donating football kits to the players, Akpoti said , "you saw what we were able to achieve in advocay for Ajaokuta steel revival and sport when we brought NFF and his team to Kogi State for the first time and the subsequent selection of six of our youths in the international team. I want to do more, give me your mandates, and tell your families and friends to join the fight to rebuild our senatorial district together.

"February 16th election is a movement, it's not about political leanings, let's come together irrespective of our political differences and change our narrative together.

Speaking on the need to exhibit  fearlessness on the day of election, Akpoti said, "don't be scared to come out and vote for me and know that no amount of money is worth buying your future and your children's future. Be part of history, vote for me and stand to defend your votes", she said.

Speaking, the Director of Sports, Natasha Akpoti Foundation, Okasime Abdulrasheed who initiated the campaign programme said Natasha Akpoti is poised to creating opportunities for teeming youths through sports.

Okasime explained that if his principal is given the mandate to represent the people of Kogi Central, she will consolidate on her efforts to making the youths realise their goals through sports.
