Okene Standstill As Natasha Takes Campaign to the Heart of Ebiraland
The senatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti took
Ebiraland by storm on Saturday when she shutdown Okene town with her ward to ward campaign.
The SDP senatorial candidate defied the intimidation and attacks by the ruling APC on her campaign which proceeded the ward to ward campaign.
Speaking, Akpoti said, she knows what it took the people to organise the ward campaign despite the harrassment and intimidation for supporting the cause of liberating the people of Kogi Central.
"I know what it took you people to defied the intimidation and harassment to still come out.
"Tell those at home that when there's a movement to change the lives of the people, we must all defile fear and participate.
"In seven days you will all come out and vote, you will not see my face or my name, you will only see the logo of my party, vote for me and let's fight poverty together. I trust you will do justice and vote for me to repositioning our senatorial district and drive thuggery out of Kogi Central", she said.
Akpoti explained that for many years the people of Kogi Central have played small in the affairs of the nation whereas they have a great role to play in the development of the country, adding that it is the reason the people of Kogi Central have been neglected for long whereas they have asset that can transform Kogi State and Nigeria.
She noted that she will consolidate on her Ajaokuta advocacy and fight for the interest of Kogi Central which serves as the host community.
Akpoti pointed out that she is going to bridge the status quo of sharing tricycle, bike and grinding machine as empowerment, explaining that her mission is to skyrocket Kogi Central from the land of poverty to land of prosperity where there will be opportunities for graduates, dropout, and illiterates to harness and live comfortably.
She said, by the time they achieve the dream of a prosperous land, everybody will live well and be able to do things with ease.
Commenting on the attack on her ward to ward campaign in Idoji, she said, the attack will not stop her campaign as the people of Kogi central have decided to change their narrative.

Carry on the great daughter of Ebira land. Your father did make a great sacrifice for his father land. He choose to come to his father land instead of remaining in Europe. Keep the momentum and serve your father land. Mediocrity is over in Life central.
