18th Graduation Ceremony: Ruha Oyiza Nur/Pri School Remiscine The Journey So Far
One of the oldest set of Nursery and Primary schools in Ihima Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Ruha Oyiza Nursery and Primary School, was on Wednesday 19th July, 2017, graduated 18th set of students and recounts the journey so far on training of pupils.
Reminiscing on the journey made through academia, the Head Mistress of the School, Mrs Rafatu Haruna gives a detail account.
"The school was founded by late Alhaji Haruna Umar in 1993 and got government approval in 1994, making the school to become the third private Nursery and primary school to be established in the area.
"After the death of the the founder in 2005, the school has been effectively managed by competent individuals whose goal is to impact knowledge on the pupils, and produce students who can compete with their counterpart anywhere in the world.
"It has always been effective service delivery to the taste and satisfaction of the parents.
"The school is currently under the leadership of Haruna Abdullahi Banana (Building Management) as the director, Haruna Fadeelatulah Oyiza (ANAN) as the Supervisor and Mr Suleiman Abdulmalik as the Head Master.
"The school has produced pupils who are now Engineering graduates, Computer Scientist, Medical doctors, Accountant and the host of others working in reputable organizations.
"The school has participated in both local and national competitions, the recent one is the keenly contested 2016 Spelling Bee organized by Ihima Students Union (ISU) for all primary schools in Ihima and the school came third." She said
