2019: Asuku Declares Intention to Vie for Adavi Assembly, Solicits for Support

Ahead of 2019 election,  Ishaq Asuku Ilyas has declared his intention to represent the people of Advavi local government in the state House of Assembly in the upcoming general election.



Asuku, who made the declaration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting at Kuroko and Idanuha ward, said he is ready to make the big difference.

He said there was no negative sign that he would not perform creditably well if given the opportunity to represent Adavi constituency at the state house of assembly.

The aspirant noted that he has been a loyal party members, adding that people of the constituency has been waiting for him to represent the constituency come 2019.

“I am vying to represent Adavi constituency because I have the experience, the exposure and capacity to represent the people of Adavi.

“The people of Adavi constituency are waiting for me to represent them because I am the one the cap fits and I will not disappoint them,’’ Asuku said.

Welcoming the aspirant to the meeting, Alh Momohjimoh Dauda, an elder statesman, said there was no doubt that  Asuku has the political exposure and experience to represent Adavi constituency.

Elder Peter Itopa, while admonishing Asuku said he should play politics with all sense of humility, urging him to heed to both the public and private advice he has been given him as a father.

“If it is the will of Almighty Allah for him to be the member representing Adavi constituency come 2019, so be it, but one thing that is sure is that it is only one person that will pick the party’s ticket for the election,’’ Elder Peter concluded by wishing Asuku success.
