Celebrating the mother of 600 as she adds another year | ISU

As amply captured by Victor Hugo of the blessed memory "he who opens a school door, closes a prison.”
Barr. Natasha Akpoti

Barrister Natasha Akpoti has not only given hope to orphans and the less privileged children, but also revived our hope that there are still people out there whose love for education and societal building knows no bounds. She has closed door of social vices to six hundred pupils she adopted their educational expense.

She is a rear gem whose humanitarian service will continue to stand the test of time time. She has proven beyond reasonable doubt the unquantifiable roles of women in societal building.

As Charles de Lint opines, "I don't want to live in the kind of world where we don't look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I cant change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my bit."

She has chosen not to whine about those who have the means to help others to grow and they and not doing it, rather she continues to take us by surprise on several occasions as she fervently contributes her bit to the development of the society, giving helping hand to those in need.

Her usual remark has always been, "we must continue to help others to grow. Building an ideal society is a responsibility of every citizen. Education is the powerful weapon to achieve this"

The six hundred pupils she adopted their educational expense will surely live to reckon the humanitarian service of the amazon. Her uncommon humanitarian service and her quest for industrialization of Nigeria through reviving of Nigerian moribund  industries are what attracted Ihima Students' Union to the her.

As she marks another year of her existence on the surface of the earth, it's out heartfelt prayer that God will continue to strengthen her to do more, elevate her in all ramifications and protect her from the evil of evil doers.

Ihima Students' Union say a hearty Happy Birthday.
