Natasha Sets to Break Stereotypical Jinx, Rewrites the course history

Knowing that change will not come if everybody waits for some other persons or some other time, instead of continuous whining about the wrongs in the society, and what ought to be done, Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti has taken the bull by its horn to be the change she wants, defied the age-long status quo and set to brake the stereotypical jinx associated with women.

In a programme organised to intimate her people on the need to liberate the people of Kogi Central Senorial District and change the course of narration, she said the only reason she holds on to her quest to liberate her people and ready to use every means is because of the extreme poverty in the land, the need to make Ajaokuta work for the common man and the need to show unquantifiable role of women in societal building.

Speaking at the palace of Obobanyi Ihima, she said she has come because of the thunderous call to serve humanity, which will amount to injustice if she rejected it.

"Without mincing words, it's a call to serve Ebiraland, to represent Kogi Central Senatorial District in 2019 at the upper chamber. This is why I've come to you to answer the call of our people and seek your blessing

"I seek your support to give me the wing to fly, watch me with prayers, because this call for service is enormous task.

"My father, late Dr. Jimoh Abdul Akpoti died when he was 49 years old with a lot of dream to serve his people. I am here today to fulfil that dream, to liberate our people.

"You will be protected from the hands of deceivers, betrayers and hypocrites, you will do the best for Ebiraland for posterity to reckon with.

"You will reach where you aspired to reach, God who gives power to whom he will, will give you the power to do more for our people, you will live long to fulfil your dream.

"With the voice of our maker, you will acquire the needed power to liberate our people.  It shall be well with you, the door of blessings has opened for you, the Ancestors of Ebiraland shall be with you", he said.

"Whenever I come home and look at my community, I discovered a lot of things have changed, I don't think this can happened in 20years, I discovered our community has deteriorated and I said something must be done.

"In this twenty years, I had gone through a lot and I have crossed a lot of oceans, In the last few years I started Ajaokuta struggle, I knew God was preparing me for something, and the call was hard.
