Ohi of Ihima Debunks Rumour of Deadly Monkey Pox Vaccine in Ihima, Environs

Following the rumour making round  that government is using soldiers to force students to take deadly vaccine of monkey pox, Ohi of Ihima, HRH. Alh. Abddulraheem Ogido has debunked the rumour in a strong term, saying it is a concocted story oozing from the enemies of the society.

The traditional ruler made this known when the National President of Ihima Students' Union, Comrade Isah Amoto Bala paid  him a courtesy call.

Ohi noted that there is no student or anybody killed by monkey pox vaccine in the land, "When people want to bring unfounded story they would come up with a lie that it happen in a particular area and people will begin to sell the rumour.

"Government will never use soldiers to intimidate people all in the name of vaccine or use expired drug for her citizens. Our people should go about their normal businesses and return their wards to school."

Earlier, the National President of Ihima Students'  Union, Comrade Isah Amoto Bala reiterated the commitment of his his administration to give utmost attention to the welfare of Ihima students, advising parents to always confirm the authenticity of any rumour before rushing to pick their wards from school, adding that school proprietors on their own part should always abreast themselves with current happening instead of relying on rumour to shut down school activities.
