The Real Kogi Agenda: A Call To Shun Igala, Okun And Ebira Agenda | By Ogo'ogu Md

Public service must be more than doing a job efficiently and honestly. It must be a complete dedication to the service of the people and to the state at large. Margaret Chase Smith.

Ladies and gentlemen of Kogi State, elders and youth, I beseech you to give me your listening ears. It's apparent that  Kogi East, West and Kogi Central are carried away by their chauvunistic quest for power. Unfortunately, this  has never been productive to  any of the constituency.  "Good leaders prioritize the needs of their people, consider the overall development and well-being of society, and do not let personal agendas, tribalism, religious biases, or ethnic differences hinder their decisions and actions."

Politics is a complex and subjective concept that can vary greatly depending on certain variables. Different individuals, groups, and political parties have their own goals, ideologies, and priorities, and these can change over time and in response to various factors such as public opinions, economic conditions, and global events.

Here are some of the ways we we can bring to bare the agenda for Kogi, instead of focusing on divisive regional agenda that the forthcoming election is hinged on. Pursuing a selfish and scandalous agenda would eventually caused nuisance and division among the citizens of the state:

Ideological Beliefs: Political parties and groups often have specific ideologies that guide their policy positions.  But to my amazement, today's government has abandoned their ideology to chase shadows, whip up sentiment and abuse power. They care more about harassing and intimidating  people with diverse ideological and political interests, than they do about delivering good governance.

In a functioning democracy, the opposition serves as a check and balance against the actions of the ruling party or government, ensuring accountability and preventing mismanagement. This is why choosing our leaders democratically remain sacrosanct.

Power and Influence: Many politicians seek power and influence as a means to implement their policy goals or to represent their constituents effectively. That is why you must let go of primitive agenda and ask them questions about their preparedness and what they seek to deliver when given a chance. We must shine our eyes now and forever.

Economic Policy: the better their policy the better we become as a state. Stop chasing this demonic agenda, those who raped you in the past are here again to play with your emotion in the name of agenda. instead, why don't you ask for manifestoes? This can include issues like taxation, government spending, trade policies, and regulation of industries. This is critical and is not too much for us to ask for.

Social Issues: This encompasses topics like civil rights, healthcare, education, and issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Different political groups may have differing views on how these issues should be addressed but instead of dwelling around the circumference of  agenda, let this guide your decision.

Security: This includes issues relating to state security and responses to various forms of threats. Today people are been kidnapped without a trace on their wereabout, innocent citizens killed without a trace of the perpetrators. The security and welfare of the citizens are the primary responsibility of the government. When a government failed to deliver these dividends, they have failed in their responsibilities, and the easiest way to escape this is to front a tribal agenda.

Democracy and Governance: Discussions around how a state should be governed, including issues like electoral reform, representation, and checks and balances. Today in Kogi state winning the election is easy but would you be announced? we have men and women in power who corrupt the electoral processes, violate all rules and laws and ask you to go to court.

They connived and striffle the opposition, disallowed a woman the opportunity to serve her people, but here they are calling for her support. This is tantamount to evil.

my conscience is alive and I cannot close my eyes and fold my hand to watch them parade themselves as the hope or messiah Kogi state needs. Those who abuse democracy eventually get abused by their craziness, greed and corruption...wait For It*

Jacob Lew says, "I think there's no higher calling in terms of a career than public service, which is a chance to make a difference in people's lives and improve the world".

Public Services and Welfare: This includes policies related to healthcare, education, social safety nets, and other services provided by the government. Agenda comrades rate our state in this area. many civil servants died of a lack of resources to pay for their daily medication as they were forced to bow by percentage salary. public office is given to better lives and the society not to make it brutal, cruel and a waste of lives. remember To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity. a government that lacks sincerity and integrity does not possess the morals to suggest to you who to govern you else history might repeat itself...The Real Agenda is The Welfare of The Civil Servant.

Ladies and gentlemen, who became the governor on 11/11/ 2023 is important if we are going to have a state that works ultimately, understanding the "real agenda" in politics requires critical thinking, research, and a nuanced understanding of the complexities involved in governing a society.  Endeavor to detach yourself from and look beyond emotions, tribalism, birthright, religion and ethnicity while making decisions. Our decision today can either make us or break us further.  May your conscience be alive.

As you read and treasure this message, I trust God to refer to it or show your children OGO'OGU contribution at a critical time when everyone has scared to choose the truth and discard the falsehood.

God Blessed Kogi State

God Bless Nigeria

Kogi Will Be Saved, Changed, And Be Great in my lifetime.
