The Arrogant Leaders, Actions And The Consequenceb | By Ogoogu Md
Ladies and gentlemen, I beseech you again to lend me your ears as I speak on the arrogance and pride that has eaten deep into our (politicians') leaders across Kogi state and Nigeria at large. Please know, *I am in my element doing what I am here to do....To this end, I was born, and for this cause, I came into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth and also be among the speakers of truth to power. So therefore touch not the Lord anointed.
To every action there is a reaction...the consumption of arrogance and pride in a leader is deadly and we must do everything possible and within to avoid history repeating itself, else the next generation would not be proud of our position in a time of chronic confusion like this in our land.
An "arrogant leader" typically refers to someone in a position of authority who displays a high degree of self-importance, superiority, and a lack of consideration for others' opinions or feelings. This type of leader tends to overestimate their own abilities and often dismisses the contributions and perspectives of those around them.
Arrogance in leadership can have several negative consequences for the society. Please follow me as I expose the consequences of arrogant leaders in our land, then you can be the judge. Arrogant leaders are religion, tribal and ethnicity-conscious, they sugar in their nonentity boasting that they have the power to make you and power to bring you down...
Poor Team Moral: they are reckless in conduct, and Team members may feel demotivated and undervalued, the society may lose confidence and trust in them. Reducing productivity and job satisfaction because of his poor morale..
Communication Breakdown: Arrogant leaders may be less inclined to listen to feedback or differing viewpoints, which can lead to miscommunication and misunderstandings within the team. They are the omega and the alpha in all conversations. They boast on top of their voices but poor community impact.
Lack of Innovation: When a leader believes they have all the answers, they may be less likely to encourage creative thinking or consider alternative solutions. They are one-way traffic leaders, with zero innovation and poor development.
High Turnover: Team members or appointees may become cheated, frustrated or disenchanted, leading to higher rates of turnover. The turnover can spark a negative reaction that ends up bringing the arrogant leader to his feet. kill arrogant and admit your areas of weakness and give chance for peace and development...
Limited Growth and Development: Arrogant leaders may stifle the growth and development of their team members by not providing opportunities for learning or advancement. currently, this is the attitude of our leaders in today's society. They are not learning and do not give chance to their team to learn. poor arrogant leaders breed poverty, crime and laziness. Remember you as poor as your level of mental poverty and you are as rich as the levels of your knowledge. Check his appointee zero project, zero connection and zero human capital development across the state. Sad
Loss of Trust and Respect: Over time, team members may lose trust and respect for an arrogant leader, which can have a long-lasting negative impact on the team's dynamic. He cannot be trusted by his team or appointees and he cannot trust his apponttee either. we are in this phase today in our state and Nigeria at large (politicians) leaders have lost the respect and trust of the citizens because of their arrogance and poor innovation, poor policy and poor human capital development.
Reputation Damage: The system's reputation can be affected if the leader's arrogance becomes widely known as it is today in our nation, potentially leading to negative perceptions from foreigners, citizens, appointees and stakeholders... Now you can judge if this is the pictures of your leader, governor, chairman, house of assembly, house of representatives and appointees. As for me I come in peace.
Ladies and gentlemen, I understand that addressing the issue of an arrogant leader may require patience and persistence. Change might not happen overnight, but by advocating for a healthier leadership style, you can contribute to a more positive work environment and politicking without fear. My assignment is to expose them and know by yourself before the 11\11\2023 governorship election.
I have zero respect and trust for arrogant, scandalous leaders. I was not brought up to tolerate or sing their praises but here for such a time to speak wisdom to the learned, and understand to the simple those who are hungry for good governance, justice and fairness with zero appetite for corruption.
God Bless You
God Bless Kogi State
God Bless Nigeria.
