Youths Allegedly Beat Pastor To Coma In Kogi Over Refusal To Allow Masquerade Enter Church
Group of angry youths in Kogi State has allegedly beat a Pastor to Coma over his refusal to let their masquerade enter church
The group which is said to be about 20 in number allegedly best the Pastor identified as Pastor
Michael Samson of United Evangelical Church, in Iyano community area of Ibaji Local Government, Kogi State.
According to Daily Post, the incidence which happened on Monday started when Pastor Michael Samson denied the youth to go inside his church when they were performing during a ceremony.
The report added that the angry youths regrouped around 11pm on Monday night and beat the Pastor to coma who was sleeping at the time of their attack.
The Pastor has since been taking to Idah general hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
The sadly incident has been reportedly to the Police Division situated in Onyedega under Ibaji LGA”, however, no arrest has been made as at the time of the report.
This is nonsense and utterly condemnable. What does masquerade have to do with Church? In a society where taking of hard drugs has become a norm the youths can take ignoble act as a of gyrating while putting the victims into torture and pain. May God save our society and also purge out these miscreants.
