Two Nigerians Sentenced To Death By Hanging In Ghana

Two Nigerians have been sentenced to death by hanging in a neighboring country, Ghana for their invlvement in the death of four Ghanaian women.  


The two Nigerians namely, Samuel Udoetuk Wills and John Orji who have been sentenced to death by hanging in Ghana for committing a crime in a foreign land.  

 According to reports by Tribune Newspaper, Sekondi high court in Ghana sentenced the two Nigerians to death after seven-member jury found the Nigerians guilty on all the counts bordering on kidnapping and murder against them.

The judgment was given by the Ghanaian Court after two years of hearing on a case of public interest where the Nigerians sentenced were accused of kidnapping and murder of four Takoradi women in 2018.

According to the judgment, the two Nigerians, Samuel Udoetuk Wills and John Orji will be killed by hanging after available evidence prove them guilty of the crimes against them.

However, the presiding judge, Richard Agyei Frimpong, noted that the two Nigerians have the right to appeal the judgment within 30-day window.
