Mrs Tarfa @ 51: Chronicle Of A Woman Of Valour Who Dared The Odds
Like the proverbial pummeling lithophytes that refused to give up on itself amidst several odds and grew out of the hardest rock, the gaffer of City Academy, Kaduna, Mrs. Hyendua Tarfa dared the odds and become a celebrated woman she is today.
According to the age long axioms, "don't judge people's achievements until you read their trajection", holds sway on the case of Mrs. Hyendua Tarfa. Her trajection that resonated into her success is a story of courage, perseverance and resilient that ought to be read by every woman who wants to surmount her challenges and go beyond the thresholds.
Mrs Hyendua Tarfa's trajection to her present status was a rough one. She dared the odds with the eyes on the goals and the result is a career woman, an astute administrator, manager of high repute and a leader per excellence that we now have as the Administrator of City Academy, Kaduna.
A look into the trajection of Mrs Tarfa's trajection showed the trajectory wasn't an easy one. Through the rough and crooked path of an orphan who lost her father while growing up, Mrs Tarfa treaded the rough lane with enornous task of sacrificing her time and happiness for her siblings.
The present humble and sacrificial lifestyle of the City Academy boss started from childhood, she has been trading in the business of sacrificing to make others happy.
As the age long axiom holds, "people who sacrifice for others to be happy will not loose in the end, they will receive manifolds of what they give up for others to be happy."
The encomium from the most senior staff of the Academy to the least employed may not suffice to define the personality of the Administrator of City Academy.
Indeed, she had treaded a rough and crooked path that resonated into her success and shaped her lifestyle. She has been able to fight through the conservative northern society to become an astute administrator amidst all odds.
One thing you can't take from the Amazon is the fact that she is humane, religious and leave her affaires in the hands of God to settle. Amidst her religious lifestyle and her managerial acumen, what you can't take away from the Administrator of one of the best private schools in Kaduna is the fact that she is blunt when it comes to truth, she is strong, an advocate of efficient service delivery and integrity irrespective of whose ox is gored.
These are the hallmark that culminated into the celebrated woman she has become over the years.
Like the great tragedian, Sophocles, averred, "success is not defined by the amount of wealth you've gathered, success is defined by the number of crooked path one treaded and still stand to dare more."
On this special day, we once again pray to God to give you and the entire household the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of our dear father, DCP Ibrahim Tarfa.
Isah Bala.
