Rahimah Emerges Winner of Ihima Anthem Challenge
After holding sway through out the competition, Musa Rahimah has emerged victorious at the Ihima Anthem challenge.
The competition, a brainchild of Comrade Haruna Hamid, an erstwhile director of social of Ihima Students' Union, was organised to test the understanding of Ihima Students on the Ihima anthem coined by the union some years ago.
Rahimah, a 200level student of department of Food Science and Technology, Kano State University of science and Technology, Wudil, won the competition after defeating her closest revival, Comrade Yusuf Muyiba Avosuahi after they were selected as the finalist, Rahimah however emegered winner through voting.
Speaking, Rahimah said her victory come as a surprise after she qualified to the final round and appreciated the union members for their support.
Speaking on the essence of the programme, the organiser, Comrade Haruna Hamid said, the aim of the challenge was to expose members of the union to the things that matters a lot yet received little or no attention.
According to him, it is very important to learn Ihima anthem and know how to recite it, adding that it is one of the things that make Ihima Students' Union unique.
