History Was Made as Pinnick, Amokachi Others Storm Kogi for Natasha's Soccer Talent Hunt

The senatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP),  in Kogi Central senatorial district, Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti on Sunday drawn a new path of history in kogi state as Kogi Central stood agog to welcome  the president of Nigeria Football federation and Vice President Confederation of African Football, Amaju Pinnick,  erstwhile super eagle skipper, Daniel Amokachi and the board members of NFF stormed Kogi State for Natasha's grassroot soccer talent hunt. 



The grassroot soccer talent, an initiative of Natasha Akpoti Foundation (NAF), in partnership with Soccer for Peace foundation, Webster group and NTA sports 24 with the approval of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is aimed at giving helping hands to the youths and unravel their hidden potentials to the world.

The unprecedented youth emancipation programme started last week with the screening of all the 45 players from the three senatorial districts of Kogi state at the Kogi polytechnic field, Lokoja Kogi State.

30 players were selected at the end of the screening, 10 players from Kogi Central, 10 from Kogi East, and 10 players from Kogi West. The 30 players were divided into 2 teams of 15 players each, making
Team Natasha Akpoti
and Team Amaju Pinnick.

The final stage of the Soccer talent talent which took place in Ihima Township Stadium today saw Amaju pinnick team winning the match with a prize of one million naira and the runner up with five hundred thousand naira and another one million naira donated by NFF to the two teams while the exceptional players selected by NFF will be awarded career part-ways via international Soccer Academies.

The Kogi Central SDP senatorial candidate, Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti who is famous for championing the struggle for Ajaokuta revitalisation to boost Nigeria economy and create opportunities for the teeming youths is poised to explore all avenue as well as using her connection to making the youths realise their career path.
