Young Nigerians Surprise the world, win 2017 world Qur'an recitation competition in Saudi Arabia
Two young Nigerians have surprised the Muslim world as they won the 2017 edition of world Quran recitation competition host in Saudi Arabia.
This was disclosed in a post by Facebook user named Zulai Ahamed. She shared the pictures of the Nigerians that won the 2017 world competition in the recitation of the Holy Qur'an in Saudi Arabia.
These young Nigerians went all the way to the cradle of Islam and beat everyone to the prize.
Zulai Ahamed wrote a few words as caption on his post. Read below; "These are the Nigerians that won the 2017 World competition in recitation of the Holy Qur'an in Saudi Arabia. Congratulations guys! You made us so proud. How is it that we went to the cradle of Islam and beat everybody else in reading the Holy Quran? This is a simple proof that we Nigerians are blessed with enormous talents. It is corruption that has been retarding us. God willing, one day, we will realise our full potentials in all fields of human endeavour."
