ISU Weekly Quiz: Musa Emerges New Champion
Comrade Omuya Oshegwudo Musa has emerged as the new champion of Ihima Students' Union Weekly competition held on Friday.
Musa defeated his closest rival Muhammed Shefia, a student of Health Technology Ida with five points to emerge as the new champion of the weekly competition.
Speaking shortly after his victory, Musa admitted that it wasn't easy emerging the new champion of the ISU weekly Quiz Competition amidst the crop of intellectuals adding that he give all the glory to Allah for emerging as the new champion.
The keenly contested competition was held on the whatsapp group of the students body where students of Ihima origin from different higher institutions of learning were able to participate
The programmes which covered historical events in Ebiraland revolves round different questions with dates of occurrences and names of exceptional personalities that had contributed to growth of Ebiraland.
Earlier, the National President of the union, Comrade Isah Amoto Bala reiterated that his administration will continue reawake the consciousness of the rich history of Ebiraland through innovative programmes, calling on societal leaders to invest in similar programme on radio for people to know the rich historical background of Ebira that is fast going into extinction.
