Gully Erosion: Ebako Community Seeks Kogi Govt Intervention
Residents of Ebako community in Oboroke Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State have made a passionate appeal to the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, member of House of Representative representing Okehi Local Government Federal Constituency, Hon. Kabiru Ajana, and the Administrator of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare to come to their aid and end the erosion that has been ravaging the area.
According to the resident of the area who pleaded for anonymity said, "the residents of the area have suffered untold hardship as a result of the erosion, some houses have been submerged and many people are already rendered homeless." He said.
The affected area is located at the adjacent of the palace of Obobanyi of Ohionwa clan, Oboroke Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
