Natasha's Role in CNN Documentary and the Interpretation of the Mischief Makers

The attention of the good people of Kogi State has been drawn to a video of Barr. Natasha Akpoti culled from a CNN documentary scene she played in 2015 which the mischief makers who are hellbent on smear campaign have been sharing on social media, calling it voodoo practice in their desperate bid to dent her image.

This is nothing but a demonstration of their hatred and their continue bid to silent Barr. Natasha Akpoti who's risen profile and popularity has continued to send shiver to the spine of the desperate politicians.

To set the record straight, Barr. Natasha Akpoti was invited by CNN to Osugbo, Osun State to reenact the scene in its documentary to replicate mix heritage appreciation in Africa on 23rd October 2015 but aired January 4th 2016 which other local media also reported and aired.

The Alayemore of Ido-Osun State,
HRH Aderemi Adedapo played an active role in the success of the documentary, Mrs. Nike Odundaye was the woman who showcased the African cultural heritage, With CNN Correspondent, Christian Putefoy and Steve from Boston. Watch the full documentary via CNN website

The recent interpretation given to the video by the agents of the state government and their minions is farther from the truth and attempt to disparage the Amazon whose popularity and acceptance by the people has continued to give them nightmare.

In the course of the programme, Barr. Natasha Akpoti posted it herself on her facebook timeline on 23rd October 2015 and I wonder why they suddenly realised the documentary has become a tool to further their campaign of calumny and blackmail.

We advise the agents of the state government and their minions orchestrating this smear campaign to always get their information right before jumping to peddle lies and desist from blackmailing Barr. Natasha Akpoti as she is not the reason the state government cannot pay workers emoluments.

Instead of wasting their time in looking for five years old CNN documentary where Barr. Natasha Akpoti played a role to reenact the scene in its documentary to replicate mix heritage appreciation in Africa, it's better they use such time to finding a lasting solution to the non payment of the workers emoluments that has continued to give bad image to the state and unprecedented poverty to the civil servants before November election.

  1. Even though she does that, we still appreciate her good gestures and concern to her people than those that went and invite shrine into the state and be intimidating, humiliating, oppressing and depriving us and our children of their right. Natasha if you could do this and still have human feelings for your people please keep it up and let the wailers continued their crying. They are only promoting you.
