Ramadan: Pray For End Of Yahaya Bello Administration – Group Urge Kogites

Kogi Patriotic Group has challenged the people of Kogi state to use the occasion of the holy month of ramadan to pray against the evil machinations of the Yahaya Bello led government.

In a press statement signed by the spokesperson of the group, Amodu Nuhu, electorate in the state were urged to take up Kogi state in prayers as a last resort.

The group assured the people of the state that prayers against bad leadership work faster, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

“Aside prayers during the Ramadan period, they should concentrate on their prayer points in the last ten days of the period known as ‘Lailatul Quadri’ to request that Almighty remove Governor Yahaya Bello and his team from office and reward them for their deeds in the state,” he said.

Nuhu said the Christian faithfuls have used the sacred period of lent to seek the face of God over the plight of the people.

“In as much as Governor Bello has stepped up his lobby through the stakeholders of his party, APC, to perpetrate his evil administration, the people of the state should also do same and leave the rest to the Almighty God, the overall judge.”

He sympathized with Muslims in the state workforce who have resorted to begging to fulfil the obligation of Ramadan fast to their creator, urging them to use the opportunity to cry to God for a new dawn in Kogi.

“Moslems in the state are not even sure of salaries during and before the sallah period, as no worker in the state has access to salaries since the beginning of this year.

“It is shameful and regrettable that Kogi State Governor is not ashamed of speaking in public where governors who have solid welfare packages for their workers are talking. His first line workforce have not been paid their basic and legitimate salaries this year.

“Kogi state governor and his team are amateurish and naive. We cannot but pray for a complete end to the present administration’s reign in the state,” he said.
