2023: We Have Been Left Behind, It's Time To Change Our Story, Natasha Charges People of Ganaja
The Kogi Central Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has called on the people of Ganaja in Ajaokuta LGA to support her candidature and other PDP candidates to change the story of the senatorial district for good.
Akpoti who lamented the poor representation of the senatorial district in the National Assembly, said the people of Kogi Central have been left behind in the scheme of things.
The PDP senatorial candidate stated this when she attended rally in the Ganaja area of Ajaokuta LGA on Monday, December 12, 2022.
"We are at a very crucial time, everybody must be politically active to save our country. I present myself to you all as a developmental partner.
"We have been left behind, it's time to change our story for good. You all have a duty to carry out to see the mandate through. Go round from door to door and sell PDP's message of emancipation. PDP has presented competent candidates.
"How many years are we going to wait for the people to get rich using the name of Ajaokuta steel company? By the time you elect me as your Senator and other PDP candidates, we will present the issue of Ajaokuta steel at the National Assembly and fight for its resuscitation," Natasha said.
Natasha also promised to stand for the people of Kogi Central and ensure the needs of the people are captured in the budget.
"I won't cheat you out of your right, I won't fold my arms and see other senators take the larger chunk of the budget, I will stand for you and speak for you. Life should not be endured, it should be enjoyed.
"With the introduction of BVAS by INEC, your votes will count this time around, go out and collect your PVC, stand your grounds, don't let anybody intimidate you, don't sell your votes", she concluded.
